Most likely R7 will not be error free either at the beginning. As far as I can see with a quick glance there are no security issues (read the whole thing to be sure) and if that's the case and you don't have an issue with anything that it fixes then perhaps you don't need it for now and can wait until issues are ironed out. You should look at the release notes and see what it fixes or addresses and then decide if you need it. The same applies for any software update. Now I think it might have been a new update "patch" for my Quicken Deluxe 2015. I didn't know what it was and so I said no. When I opened my Quicken Deluxe 2015 today I got a pop-up saying that the program wanted to add "update/fix? (something like that) and did I approve.
